The Kraken already helps roofing contractors find leads with AI roof analysis. Now we are bringing the same intelligence to siding contractors. Curb to Close is a new add-on that scores homes on curb appeal, AI-renders the transformation, and mails the homeowner a personalized card with a QR code that captures the lead when they scan.
Roofing contractors have a clear signal when a homeowner needs them: a storm hits, a roof ages, granules appear in the gutter. The urgency is visible. Siding contractors do not have that luxury. Siding degrades slowly. Homeowners adapt to faded paint and warped panels over years. They do not wake up one morning knowing they need new siding the way they know they need a new roof after a hail storm.
That makes siding lead generation harder. Cold canvassing is inefficient because most of the homes you visit are not ready to buy. Direct mail is expensive and untargeted. Online ads compete with every other contractor in the market. None of these approaches take advantage of the one signal that actually predicts a siding sale: visible curb appeal decline.
Curb to Close uses AI to score homes in any neighborhood on curb appeal decline, identifying properties where siding condition, paint fade, trim deterioration, or overall appearance has dropped enough to indicate a near-term replacement buyer. Then it does three things that turn a scored list into actual leads.
Draw any neighborhood on the map, the same map you already use for AI roof analysis. Curb to Close analyzes street-level imagery for each home and scores curb appeal on a 1 to 5 scale. Homes scoring 1 and 2 are priority targets: visible decline, likely motivated to improve, and receptive to a conversation about transformation.
For each priority home, the AI generates a photorealistic rendering of what the house would look like with new siding in your most popular material and color options. The rendering uses the actual home's architecture, windows, doors, and landscaping. It is not a generic before-and-after. It is their house, looking like what it could look like.
Curb to Close generates a personalized direct mail piece for each selected home. The front shows the current photo and the AI rendering side by side. The back has your company name, a short message, and a QR code unique to that property. When the homeowner scans it, they land on a page that shows the full AI rendering, your company info, and a form to request a free quote. That scan is your warm lead.
Generic siding mailers are ignored because they are not relevant. A homeowner with new siding has no reason to open it. A homeowner looking at their peeling paint every day has every reason to open a card that shows their own house looking the way they wish it looked. The personalization is the product. The rendering does the selling before you make a single call.
The QR code separates the window shoppers from the real buyers. Scanning takes intent. A homeowner who scans the code is raising their hand. You call that homeowner knowing they have already seen the transformation and chosen to learn more.
Curb to Close is designed as a natural extension of the Kraken Ops workflow, not a separate product. Leads captured through QR code scans flow directly into your CRM pipeline as new contacts, pre-tagged with the property address, the AI curb appeal score, and the rendering they viewed. You pick up the phone with full context already loaded.
From there, the rest of the Kraken workflow takes over: site visit, plans takeoff, Good Better Best proposal, customer portal, e-sign, deposit invoice. The lead gen is new. The close process is the one you already know.
Curb to Close is in active development and targeted for release later in 2026 as a paid add-on. Kraken Ops subscribers on any plan will be eligible to add it when it launches.
